How to Find Trading Opportunities with TradeScope: A Complete Tutorial

TradeScope Team·2026-05-28

A great tool is only as good as your ability to use it. This tutorial walks you through the complete TradeScope workflow from scratch.

Step 1: Browse the Opinion Feed

Open the TradeScope homepage and you'll see a feed of trader opinions from four major channels (Xueqiu, Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram). Each opinion has been processed by AI and tagged with the trader's name, target asset, long/short direction, and core rationale.

Step 2: Select Traders to Follow

Not every trader is worth following. Browse the list in the Traders tab and click Follow to add traders to your watchlist. Once followed, you can view their opinions in the "Following" view. VIP users can also set up push notifications.

💡 We recommend starting by following 3–5 traders whose style matches yours. If you're a BTC trader, start by following KOLs who frequently analyze BTC.

Step 3: Read the Sentiment Dashboard

The dashboard provides a key sentiment overview:

  • Long/Short Ratio — Overall market sentiment direction
  • Hot Assets — Most discussed assets at the moment
  • Opinion Timeline — All opinions sorted by time

First thing every day: check the Long/Short Ratio. If it shifts from yesterday's 3:1 to today's 1:1, sentiment is changing — worth digging into why.

Step 4: Set Up Push Notifications

On a trader's detail page, click Push to set conditions by trader, asset, or direction. For example: "Notify me when a specific trader posts a bearish view on BTC."

Step 5: From Sentiment to Decision

  1. Spot Signals — Asset heat spikes, long/short ratio reversal
  2. Confirm Logic — Read the AI-extracted core rationale
  3. Technical Verification — Confirm if price is at a key level
  4. Make a Plan — Gauge directional certainty from divergence levels
  5. Track Execution — Monitor sentiment changes after entry

Case Study: ETH Bullish Signal

ETH was mentioned by 20 traders on TradeScope within 24 hours, with a 4:1 long/short ratio and low divergence. Activity surged from 5 to 20 mentions. This means ETH has formed a bullish consensus — the narrative is building. Best strategy: go long on a pullback to support.
