This Privacy Policy applies to the TradeScope website and services (the "Platform"), provided by TradeScope ("we," "us," or "our"). It explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
Quick Summary: We collect your email (and your name/avatar when you sign in via Google or GitHub) for registration and login, store your trading plans, trade reviews, and research notes for in-app display, and use Google Analytics to understand site usage. We do not sell your personal information. Your trading plans are private by default.

1.1 Information You Provide
- Email address: Collected during registration or when signing in via Google/GitHub, used for login and important notifications
- Name and avatar: When you sign in via Google or GitHub, we receive your public display name and profile picture from that platform
- Trading plans & reviews: Trade plans, execution records, and review scores you create
- Research notes: Notes and AI analysis results you create
- Follow list: The traders and assets you follow
- Feedback: Suggestions and opinions submitted through feedback channels
- Asset notes: Personal notes you attach to assets
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Browsing data: Anonymous usage data collected via Google Analytics (GA4), including page views, clicks, session duration
- Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system version (server logs)
- Session data: Login state maintained via Session Token and Cookies
1.3 Information NOT Collected
- Exchange account credentials or API keys
- Full trading portfolio or capital amounts
- Keystroke or mouse movement details
2. How We Use Your Information
- Email: Account login, identity verification, service notifications (security alerts, policy changes)
- Trading plans & notes: Display to you in the Platform; publicly shared content may be visible to other users
- Follow list: Power personalized viewpoint feeds and Dashboard
- Browsing data (GA4): Analyze site usage, improve product experience
- IP address: Server security, abuse prevention
- Feedback: Improve products and services
We do not use your information for automated decision-making (e.g., credit scoring) or behavioral advertising.
3. Cookies & Tracking
The Platform uses the following cookies:
- Essential cookies: Maintain login state (Session Token). The Platform cannot function without these
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics collects usage data to help us improve
You can disable cookies via browser settings, but some features may not work properly.
Google Analytics data handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Storage location: Servers are located in mainland China
- Encryption: All communications are encrypted via HTTPS
- Password security: Passwords are hashed; we cannot access your raw password
- Access control: Only authorized personnel can access server data
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party.
Third-party services we use:
- Google Analytics: Web analytics; data is processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy
- Google OAuth: Authentication service for signing in with Google. You are redirected to Google's login page to authenticate; we receive your email, name, and avatar upon successful authentication
- GitHub OAuth: Authentication service for signing in with GitHub. You are redirected to GitHub's login page to authenticate; we receive your email, name, and avatar upon successful authentication
- Cloudflare: CDN and security; IP addresses pass through Cloudflare's network
- Email service: Used to send verification codes and notifications (if enabled)
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Account deletion: Contact us to delete your account; data will be cleared within a reasonable period
- GA4 data: Anonymous analytics retained for 14 months
- Server logs: IP addresses retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted
7. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:
- Right to know: This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data
- Right to access: Contact us to request a copy of your personal data
- Right to correct: Your email can be updated in account settings
- Right to delete: Contact us to delete your account and associated data
